We're a little late, but here's a recap of everything new that shipped in March. Welcome to the April 2026 update.
Build from Source
The biggest release this month is Build from Source. You no longer need to wrestle with Dockerfile syntax, CI pipelines, or other dev tooling just to get your own app up and running.

For straightforward applications that don't require complex dependency environments, you can use NoVPS Build from Source. Connect your GitHub account, pick a repository, and your app appears on the platform — almost like magic.
Under the hood, we still build a Docker image, push it to the built-in NoVPS Registry, and deploy from there. You can even pull the image locally if you want to test it or debug any issues.
UI Improvements and Optimizations
Build from Source turned out to be a significant undertaking — development and testing consumed most of the month — but the team still found time to ship additional quality-of-life improvements.
The Billing section now shows estimated costs for running resources, databases, and storage usage. This makes it easier to keep track of your infrastructure spend and understand exactly what you're paying for.

We also added form progress autosave when creating a new application or adding a resource to an existing one. You no longer need to worry about accidentally closing a tab or refreshing the page — your input is saved in the browser and restored when you come back.
Finally, we shipped several under-the-hood optimizations that make the dashboard faster and more reliable.
Conclusion
That's a wrap on this month's update. Thank you for choosing NoVPS — we're continuing to work on making the platform more convenient and dependable.
